FAQ
Short answers about the reference, contributing, and support.
General
What is pay.wiki?
pay.wiki is a reference corpus for payment methods, banks, currencies, countries, and the news that moves them. It helps merchants see where money can go — not a processor.
Is pay.wiki free to use?
Browsing the reference is free. Account features such as a cart for inquiries may be available without charge; paid products are called out separately when they exist.
Do I need an account?
No for reading. An account unlocks cart and personalised saves when those features are enabled.
Contributing
How do I correct an entry?
Sign in, then use Suggest an edit on the entry or Contribute in the header. Both open mail to support with the page path — include a citation.
What counts as a source?
Primary scheme docs, regulator notices, bank publications, or reputable trade reporting with a stable URL or document identifier.
Support
How do I reach you?
Email support@pay.wiki. Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time (excluding U.S. federal holidays). Or use the contact form.
How quickly do you respond?
We aim to reply within one business day. Integration or partnership threads may take longer once routed.
Technical
Is there a public API?
