Biopago is a biometric payment solution offered by Banco de Venezuela (the state-owned bank) that allows transactions between individuals and legal entities of the same bank using fingerprint authentication. It enables cardless payments at participating POS terminals and was positioned as a financial inclusion tool for users without cards.
