Cambodia's national interoperable QR code payment standard, introduced in July 2022 by the National Bank of Cambodia and operating on the Bakong infrastructure. KHQR enables consumers to pay any participating merchant using any participating banking app, accounting for over 47% of non-cash retail transactions by 2025.
