MVola Comores is the mobile money service of Telma Comores, an Axian Telecom operator renamed Yas in November 2024. It launched in April 2019 and says it was the first mobile money service in the Comoros; it runs as its own service, with its own app and site, separate from MVola in Madagascar. Customers use agents and the MVola app, which works whatever their mobile network, to send money, pay bills and merchants and buy Yas airtime. Diaspora transfers arrive through partners such as Ria and Orange Money Europe. MVola's site cited more than 100,000 registered users as of 2026.
