About
RupaliCash is the mobile financial service of Rupali Bank PLC, which in 2025 was the only state-owned bank in Bangladesh offering MFS. It launched on 25 September 2025 on the bank's own technology, replacing SureCash, which Rupali Bank had run since 2016 with Progoti Systems and closed on 19 September 2025. Customers open a wallet in the RupaliCash app through e-KYC with their national ID, then deposit and withdraw cash, send money wallet to wallet, pay merchants, recharge phones and receive salaries. At launch, transfers from a Rupali Bank account into the wallet were free.
