SureCash has not closed but has collapsed to a fraction of its peak: after regulatory problems from 2016 (student stipends withheld, NID verification failures, transaction limit breaches), partner banks withdrew one by one and only state-owned Rupali Bank SureCash remains operational. Its technical partner Pragati Systems has moved on.
